2) Do they have a visa to work?
It is completely legal as authorized by the United States Department of State. During the 1960’s, The State Department created the J1 visa. It is a cultural exchange program for international students to travel, work, and experience the American way of life. It is a non-immigrant visa which means when their summer vacation is over, they go back home to their universities.

There are over 200,000 participants per year ranging in age from 18 to 30 years old.

They can all speak English. They have to pass an English test and are interviewed in English at the U.S. embassy in their country.

5) How does the process work? If I want students for a season, how do I get started?
It’s simple and easy. The first step is to fill out an Employer Partner Application Job Description and submit it to us. We will then list your positions and create an advertisement for you, at no cost, promoting you further. As the students apply, we’ll notify you and forward their application. When possible, we will also include a video link

6) What dates are students available to work and how long can they work?
Spring dates start in late February/March until May/June.
Summer dates are May/June until September/October.
Winter dates are November/December until March/April.
Students can work up to 4 months and travel for up to 30 days depending on their university summer break schedule.

7) What if a student doesn’t work out?
If you experience problems, please contact us so that we may assist.
