How To Apply
There is no national health insurance in the United States, so private health insurance is required in the U.S.

The cost of your insurance is included in your program cost. You will be enrolled in the policy when you successfully validate your GEC J-1 program.

Please read your Participant Handbook and Medical Insurance information found in your GEC Program Materials for information on medical policy benefits, exclusions and filing a claim. It is important that you thoroughly read these materials to determine if you will need to purchase additional coverage for your program. The medical policy is a general travel policy and covers most illness and accidents while you are in the U.S. but does not cover pre-existing conditions or diagnosis', dental care, vision care, mental health, maternity benefits or routine healthcare such as vaccinations, etc. Please review the actual policy for all exclusions and benefit information.

If at anytime you need assistance with filing a claim or have a question please contact us!
